Welcome to the TVSC Recreational Soccer Program

	The Rec program is a fun and less formal, less competitive program which gives new and younger players an opportunity to learn to love the game of soccer in a more relaxed atmosphere.

	The TVSC Recreational program is recommended for new and developing players. Rec teams are built through an open registration process. TVSC Recreational staff, in an effort to contribute to a fun and comfortable learning environment, build the most balanced teams possible.

	The TVSC Recreational program is an in-house program where all TVSC Rec teams will play other TVSC Rec teams. In certain situations, when it benefits the players and the team, TVSC may enter into an inter-league agreement with another clubs recreational league, and may have an opportunity to play that clubs recreational teams.

	TVSC Recreational teams will practice twice weekly (some coaches opt to practice once weekly with younger age groups) with games each Saturday. Practices will be held at parks and schools in the Tanque Verde Valley (i.e. Aqua Caliente Elementary School, Tanque Verde Elementary School, Fruchthendler Elementary and McDonald Park, etc.)

	The Fall season is a 12-week season with 8 games. The Fall Season starts in September and ends in mid-November.

	The Winter season is a 12-week season with 8 games. The Winter Season begins in January and wraps up by the end of March.

	Rec teams are coached by trained volunteer coaches, in most cases, parents, with their own children playing on the team they coach.
